Compressed Air Drying Device
The technology, an air-purifying device incorporating an internal cyclone and centrifugal effect, is used to eliminate water condensation, oil residues and solid particles that are present as contaminants in pneumatic components. The design enables automatic extraction of the condense contaminants through a bottom discharge port.
The device is more effective, and less costly than current methods requiring individual oil separators and common cartridge filters used for compressed air, extracting contaminants from the outlet air, and providing cleaner, drier outlet air. The device creates fewer problems for pneumatic tools, reducing breakdowns, resulting in lower maintenance costs, and extending the life of the equipment.
Compact and requiring no additional electrical wiring, the device is optimal for all situations requiring dehumidification of the compressed air, purification of the compressed air, and automatic extraction of the air from the stocking reservoirs. The lack of need for any additional motor component results in less wear, deterioration or clogging in the equipment using the device.
The technology does not feature any cartridges, so it requires no maintenance, unlike common compressed-air filters that require frequent replacement, costing time and money.
