MC Square Light and Sound System
The original MC Square device, created in Korea, was designed to provide stress relief, and enhanced concentration and relaxation. It has been modified to create a method to treat age-related memory loss. The pocket-sized transmitter and goggles system uses a synchronization of light and sound, in a microcomputer pre-programmed software control unit, to stimulate beta, alpha, theta and delta brainwaves to influence brain activity.
The device is convenient, pain-free, easy-to-use and non-invasive. The unique, innovative MC Square device allows individuals or caregivers to determine, apply and time treatment. MC Square integrates traditional and holistic medical methods for treating individuals, fulfilling the increasing need for biophysical applications in health and health-related markets.
The method does not generate any side effects that might be associated with on-going or one-shot drug therapy treatments or remedies.
Based on the modified device, applications have expanded from students to include normal, healthy individuals that report, or are at risk of, stress related illnesses and/or mild memory loss.
In addition, potential prospects exist in the $148 billion market for treatment, risks and costs associated with Alzheimer's and other dementias. Opportunities include personal use, home-care, hospitals, nursing homes and hospices, and dementia living centers. An estimated 13% or 4.9 million people age 65 and over in the U.S. have Alzheimer's, a progressive, degenerative disease that alters the brain, causing impaired memory, thinking and behavior.
